About

Future University was was created in 2017 to provide cross-disciplinary  knowledge on how to make educated guesses to maximize income and generational wealth. After speaking at several colleges and high schools about how to utilize the purpose diagram (i.e., Ikigai) depicted here, he realized that there’s a huge need for education and tools to tackle the orange circles. “What the world needs” and “What you can be paid for” are constantly evolving. Further, it’s how do we consider these two components against “What you love” and “What you’re good at”? Future University addresses these questions and more.

Guided Compass, a lifelong career development platform was founded in 2018 to complement Future University. Specifically, it helps people and their career advisors manage each of the quadrants of the purpose diagram. Additionally, it automatically pulls relevant future-looking trends to serve to its users.

The Founder of Future University and Guided Compass is Creighton Taylor. Creighton has had a varied career in investments, product management, and software development. He spent 4 years working in investment management and eight years in technology startups primarily focused on helping people create generational wealth. While in investments, he spent time learning and practicing how to predict the future value of companies and markets. These courses take this approach, and add the aforementioned considerations for maximizing earned income, identifying relevant societal needs, using your competitive advantage, personal finance, and entrepreneurship. Creighton has a Harvard MBA degree, the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and Business and Music degrees from Emory University. Learn more about Creighton on his personal website here.
