Top Global Issues

This course covers recent and continuing global issues around the world from a neutral standpoint.

Module 1

In the first module, we review basic stats and growth rates of top global issues including:

Pollution
Crime
Sovereign Debt
Terrorism
Prostitution
Drugs
Slavery
Racism
Poverty
Disease
Religion

This module will not be for the faint of heart. If there are two sides of these issues, we will present both neutrally to focus on exposure and awareness of students.

Module 2

In this module, we will go over current proposed solutions for these problems. Many of these solutions will span government and non-profits, but some of them include for-profit businesses. Students will then brainstorm on solutions for select issues within a class setting.
